Short run for Bilicki at Bristol
Josh Bilicki from Menomonee Falls wrapped up his day early at Bristol Motor Speedway Saturday, completing just a single lap in the NASCAR Xfinity Alsco 300.
Bilicki posted a best time 16.278 seconds in the second practice run at Bristol in his #93 RSS Racing Chevy Camaro and went with no time in the first session.
In qualifying, Bilicki improved his time to 16.074 seconds, but dropped a bit to 29th overall on the timing sheet.
Unfortunately, the Wisconsin racer saw his day end quickly at the half-mile Monster track, collecting just a single point for his 36th place showing and experiencing an ignition issue.
Bilicki now sits with 45 series points and 32nd in Driver Standings.
The series will move on to Virginia but stay on the short tracks this coming weekend with the Toyota Car 250 scheduled for Friday at Richmond Raceway.
