Decker adds six Gander Outdoors Truck races with DGR-Crosley

Natalie Decker, 21, from Eagle River has tried her hand in almost every type of auto racing available, but she is settling in now for a near full ride in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.

DGR-Crosley announced recently the addition of six more races for Decker in the #54 N29 Toyota Tundra. Decker started the first three events on the Truck Series schedule, sitting out the last two, but she will return for the Jegs 200 at Dover International Speedway, Dover, Delaware and compete in 14 of the final 18 events.

The series is on a break through the entire month of April and the slow start to the campaign has allowed Decker a chance to get behind the wheel in some other series this summer, including the season opener of the ARCA Menards and Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli Tires at Daytona and Sebring respectively, a K & N East Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway last weekend and a couple visits to the W Series tryout/test sessions, an all-female open-wheel series in Europe.
