The ARCA Menards series Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire event at Daytona International Speedway set up shop for the weekend and the first two practice rounds.
Eagle River’s Natalie Decker is in the event for a third straight year, this time with Ken Schrader Racing/FURY Race Cars, behind the wheel of the #52 N29Technologies Ford Mustang.
Decker started slow, finishing with a time outside the top 10 in the first practice, but in her first of two stints on the track in the second practice she posted some fast and consistent lap times, her fastest a 49.820 second trip which was eighth fastest, less than .4 behind Connor Hall who posted the fastest time.
California rookie Hailie Deegan posted the fasted time in the first practice session.
Racers will take the track again at 11:30 (CDT) Saturday for group qualifying sessions and the race will go green at 3:45 p.m.
